Global Uni-Docs, Inc. (GUD), a software and services company, has positioned itself at the intersection of two disruptive innovations: radio frequency identification (RFID) and a new type of electronic document authentication. RFID has the effect of making supply chains transparent; GUD uses an efficient electronic document authentication to simplify secure content collaboration across organizational boundaries. Each of these technologies individually is projected to radically alter the industries it touches. GUD combines these capabilities to create a new kind of product, one that addresses the market need for detailed, authenticated product event histories for Total Quality Management, ISO 900X and Six Sigma supply chain logistics operations. GUD supports secure, automatic certification of supply chain events using RFID and bar code input.

In addition to leadership in electronic document authentication technology, GUD's management team is almost unique in having RFID experience going back to the 1980's. The team also has strong expertise in marketing, supply chain logistics, TQM, product usability and software development methodology, as well as a long-standing interest in smart factory floors and processes along with pioneering efforts in electronic interchange.
