Product Features

Using a game-changing new electronic content authentication technology that supports secure, Peer-to-Peer (P2P) file transfers, GUD is able to provide a new kind of information assurance software product currently unavailable to the market. A product that features

True authentication of content life-cycle events. Unlike current systems that can be easily manipulated
before or after an authentication sessions are established. GUD's CCS ensures that content has not been
maliciously altered and that only authorized users gain access to the content.

Self-governing content authentication using secure electronic signatures. Unlike the existing state-of-the art, GUD Content-Centric Security (CCS) does not depend on centralized PKI authorities. Consequently, CCS does not have PKI's high cost and administrative overhead; electronic key security and update problems; failures at organizational boundaries; and the necessity of maintaining a secure central directory of everyone authorized to issue electronic signatures.

Digital content always kept in its correct context. CCS keeps data locked in the context of the particular content that gives the data meaning.

Web-based event history documentation. Unlike current systems that do not provide part-level histories and that lack a simple, straight-forward web interface.

Flexible and updatable control and access of content. Unlike current systems that were not designed for ease of collaboration across organizations.

Automatic document access audit trails. Unlike current systems that are unable to track the event history of content access and modification.

Automatic, secure document archiving. Unlike current systems that lose their permission structure when content is archived.

Documents protected by Content-Centric Security™ (CCS) can be securely distributed via email, web mail, FTP Servers, web sites, or instant messages within VPN, WAN, LAN, wireless or ISP networks. Personnel identities and user profiles can be verified with a range of technologies depending on application requirements and business process objectives, ranging from simple login passwords to user biometrics such as finger-prints or voice-prints.
