1. Global Uni-Docs Corporation (GUD) Awarded Phase Zero Award at DFW Life Science & Technology Fusion Forum
Dallas, TX (August 30, 2006) - Global Uni-Docs Corporation located in Dallas, TX announced today that they were awarded a Phase Zero grant at the DFW Life Science & Technology Fusion Forum. The Forum was held at the Omni Mandalay Hotel at Las Colinas. The awards are designed to assist emerging technology companies prepare Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) proposals. GUD's Content-Centric Security™ information assurance technology addresses several released and announced SBIR programs.
GUD technology is based on proprietary Content-Centric Security™ (CCS) authentication technology. CCS has profound implications, systemically altering information security and authentication applications. CCS enables one to embed authentication procedures into electronic content. This disruptive approach enables companies to create unified audit trails and securely move data across organizational boundaries that historically have had interoperability problems.
Since the content itself become “self-sufficient” in terms of its security and authentication requirements, the technology eliminates the need to maintain centralized infrastructure which separates authentication procedures from content, leaving data subject to manipulation and malware
“Global Uni-Docs is honored to receive the award and really appreciates the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce, Tech Fort Worth, and the sponsors the allowing us the opportunity to present Content-Centric Security,” said David M. Shaw, President. “CCS has the potential meet numerous federal agency needs, including the Departments of Defense, Homeland Security, Agriculture, and others with active and pending SBIR announcements that deal specifically with information assurance. This award provides GUD the opportunity to prepare competitive proposals that addresses these programs. We're excited to have our technology considered across so many domains.”

About Global Uni-Docs Corporation
Global Uni-Docs (GUD) is a Dallas-based software and services start-up company. GUD's proprietary authentication technology marries electronic content and user authentication procedures into content. Because GUD content is self-sufficient in terms of authentication, they are not tied to the network infrastructure. The radical consequence is that GUD allows authenticated product information to be easily integrated on a flexible, as-needed basis. GUD authentication verifies participants, content, devices and applications. GUD proprietary certification is unlike existing authentication technology, which divorces authentication procedures from electronic content. GUD authentication avoids rigidity, very high administrative costs, insider trust risks, the complexity of a centralized security profile database, corporate and individual privacy issues, and very poor cross-platform interchange and compatibility.
2. Global Uni-Docs Corporation (GUD) Presents Content-Centric Security (CCS) at World's Best Technologies Showcase
Dallas, TX (April 10, 2006) - Global Uni-Docs Corporation located in Dallas, TX announced today that they presented information on Content-Centric Security at the World's Best Technologies Showcase (WBT) in Arlington, Texas. WBT was held in the Arlington Convention Center from March 27 - 29. GUD products are based on proprietary Content-Centric Security™ (CCS) software technology. CCS has profound implications, systemically altering information security and authentication applications. CCS enables one to embed authentication procedures into electronic documents themselves. The content itself become “self-sufficient” in terms of its security and authentication requirements, dispensing with the need to maintain centralized “network-centric” authentication infrastructure. Essentially, CCS complements centralized authentication security approaches such as Public-Key Infrastructure (PKI) and other access and permission systems. CCS sharply reduces direct cost, administrative overhead, and the difficulty of quickly and securely integrating operations across organizational boundaries.
WBT is the premier event showcasing the world's largest collection of undiscovered technologies emanating from top universities, labs, and research institutions from across the country and around the globe. Participating technologies are selected by - and presented to - seasoned venture investors and Fortune 500 licensing scouts representing a variety of industries.
“We really appreciated the opportunity to present information regarding Content-Centric Security™ to such an influential target audience,” said David M. Shaw, President “CCS has the potential to protect proprietary data, enable the data to cross disparate organizational boundaries with interoperability issues, and is among the first technologies to provide a secure, unified audit trail where the content is not divorced from the authentication procedures. WBT offered GUD a platform to present our highly disruptive approach and we welcomed the opportunity.”
About The World's Best Technology Showcase (WBT)
The WBT is produced in cooperation with the Federal Laboratory Consortium for Technology Transfer (FLC) and the National Association of Seed and Venture Funds (NASVF). WBT exhibitors must demonstrate their technology has the potential to form the basis for high growth commercial enterprise or may be licensed easily to solve a specific market problem. Selected technologies are typically supported by a number of federal R&D programs, including SBIR, STTR, US Department of Energy's Office of Industrial Technologies (OIT) program, National Science Foundation (NSF), and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to name a few. The WBT is designed to support the movement of world-class technologies from leading laboratories and universities into the marketplace by providing the opportunity for scientists, researchers, and technology entrepreneurs, Fortune 500 licensing professionals, and seed-stage venture capital investors to develop new relationships. In doing so, the WBT
serves as a catalyst between university and lab-based technologies, the investment community, and ultimately, the marketplace. For more information, please visit WBT.
About Global Uni-Docs Corporation
Global Uni-Docs (GUD) is a Dallas-based software and services start-up company. GUD's patent-pending, proprietary information assurance technology marries electronic content and user authentication procedures with digital content enabling the content to self-authenticate against those attempting access. Because GUD content is self-sufficient in terms of authentication, content is no longer tied to centralized network authorities and cyber-security infrastructure. The radical consequence is that GUD, for the first time, enables information to be easily integrated in ubiquitous network environments, across trading-partner boundaries, on a flexible, as-needed basis. GUD enforces information exchange integrity, compliance and risk mitigation through authentication of the personnel, devices, content (text, documents, audio, video and images), and applications associated with complex information exchange. GUD' proprietary certification is unlike existing alternatives, which divorce authentication procedures from content, takes the data out of the context it was delivered and leaves it subject to manipulation. GUD authentication avoids rigidity, very high administrative costs, insider trust risks, the complexity of a centralized security profile database, corporate and individual privacy issues, and very poor cross-platform interchange and compatibility.
3. Global Uni-Docs Corporation (GUD) Accepted to Present Content-
Centric Security at 2007 Decision and Risk Analysis Conference.
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) February 26, 2007 - Global Uni-Docs Corporation (GUD), located in Dallas, TX, was today accepted to present “Unifying Supply Chain Product Life-Cycle Management Through Content-Centric Security (CCS)”, hosted May 21-22, 2007 by The International Center for Decision and Risk Analysis (ICDRiA) at The University at Texas at Dallas School of Management.
“We are delighted to be a part of this important Risk Analysis conference”, stated David M. Shaw, President of GUD. “As companies become increasingly dependent upon the Internet to exchange critical product life-cycle information across geographic and network boundaries, it becomes critical to ensure the integrity of the data being utilized to mitigate risks related to quality assurance, process control, regulatory compliance and other operations,” said Shaw.
GUD's technology is based on proprietary Content-Centric Security™ (CCS) authentication software. CCS has profound implications, systemically altering information security and authentication applications. CCS enables one to embed authentication procedures into electronic content. This disruptive approach enables companies to create unified audit trails and securely move data across organizational boundaries that historically have had interoperability problems.
